Hello everyone, I am sure most of you knows exercise is good for you. But the questions is how good? We all know that exercise is good for your heart. And according to Swedish researches, they found out that as little as 1 hour of moderate exercise or 30 minutes of vigorous exercise a day could help reduce the risk of heart failure by 46%.
I am pretty sure that most of my friends will be surprise, as I am not really a health and fitness enthusiasts but I will strive to have a healthy and happy life. What made me decide to live a healthy life? Well, it’s all because of you my dear friends, colleagues, previous students and to all my acquaintances. I am inspired by your overwhelming comments, I believe I owe it to all of you and I decided to share some tips and techniques in losing weight to have a happy life.
Before we go into any further details, let’s discuss what is “being healthy”? It is important to know what is “being healthy”means so you will be able to have a correct perspective. People have different point of view about being healthy. Some connect to body and other people says its about having a healthy mind, etc. As for my personal opinion, "being healthy" is having a healthy body and mind. It must go together so it will be easier for you to cope up and succeed in life. Being healthy is a choice, yes, a decision to make. If you decided to improved your appearance or prevent any disease you have to make a healthy lifestyle. It is about time that you decide to have a healthy lifestyle it is because it has a big impact how you feel and how you see things around you. And most importantly, it will boost your confidence and it will help you achieve whatever you want in life.
Allow me to share some steps to have a healthy body which doesn't cost you a lot of money and it will improve your health. Also, you will become a better person
1. Drink enough water. In order not to be dehydrated, our body need at least 8 glasses of water every day. This is in addition to the fluid we get from the food we eat. All non-alcoholic drinks count, but water, milk and fruit juices are the most healthy. Avoid drinking soda and other drinks that has high in added sugar.
2. Get Enough of Sleep. To maintain a healthy body, you have to sleep at least 8-10 hours every day. By getting enough sleep it will make you awake and alert, thus, you don't need to drink coffee for you to be awake. Too much caffeine is not good for your health.
3. Don’t skip breakfast. Some people skip breakfast because they think it will help them lose weight.. A healthy breakfast is an important part of a balanced diet, and provides some of the vitamins and minerals we need for good health. Wholemeal cereal, with fruit sliced over the top is a tasty and nutritious breakfast.
4. It’s recommended that we eat at least five portions of different types of fruit and veg a day. It’s easier than it sounds. A glass of 100% unsweetened fruit juice can count as one portion, and vegetables cooked into dishes also count.
5. Laugh and smile! Smiling a lot makes your face look younger and it feels great. If you laugh a lot, it has been scientifically proven to keep you healthier.
6. Exercise. Exercise can help reduce anxiety and improve mood. there are physical reasons why working out may help make you happier, such as releasing feel-good brain chemicals; raising your body temperature, which may have a calming effect; and reducing immune-system chemicals, which may contribute to depression symptoms. Exercise also builds your confidence, distracts you from worries and helps you interact with others
To all of you having a dilemma for having unhealthy body, its time for you to make a choice, be happy or be grumpy. The choice is yours.
